13 - An exhibition of 13 Female Artists 1 to 31 August 2023

Female artists have been massively underrepresented in the art world. This year sees a number of large galleries in Britain dedicating their spaces to female led exhibitions or rehanging their collections to help to correct this schism. In keeping with the movement and as a female owned gallery Barewall are adding their the weight of voice on a hyper local level to provide opportunity to female artists showing alongside our vintage collection curated by the gallery. 

We have collated a female artist collection for a few years now and wanted to bring the talent to the forefront of the visitor experience both in gallery and online.

We hope you enjoy visiting the show which shows at the same time as exhibitions in Burslem at Lost + Found Projects and The Keele Three Counties Open Art Show at Burslem School of Art until the end of August.
