Andrew Matheson (b. 1949)
British studio potter making stoneware and porcelain hand thrown and hand constructed ceramic sculpture based at his studio in Litchfield, Staffordshire.
Born in Edinburgh, Andrew Matheson graduated in ceramics from Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen from 1974-1978, including a postgraduate award 1978-79. He is also an elected member of Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) and the Birmingham Art Circle.
Andrew has work in both public and private collections and shows in galleries across the UK as well as being featured in many ceramic magazines.
