Claire Vardy-White (b.1963)
Claire Vardy-White is a British artist, born in 1963 at Medway in Kent. She studied Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art, London from 1986 to 1990. She now lives and works from her Nantwich studio in South Cheshire.
Claire has exhibited widely including group shows in Stockport, Mayfair at Cork Street where she won a painting prize. In 2014 she was shortlisted for the National Open Art show in London, and won the Gemini Prize for Art in the same year.
Working for a number of years in her studio she recently entered the Keele Three Counties Open Art show at The Burslem School of Art where her painting Factory won the Staffordshire Creamware prize.
Barewall are delighted to be working with this exciting and vibrant artist painting colourful almost abstract oil paintings of often familiar urban and rural landscape which are found in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
