Faye Mayo

Faye Mayo graduated from London's Goldsmiths College in Ceramics and Textiles. She is now a potter and sculptor based in South London. She visits the Potteries to collect materials from Valentines Clay in Fenton and was winner of the Art in Clay people's prize in 2021. 

Faye's handbuilt vessels and sculptural figurative work present a sense of delicacy. Her intention is to draw the gaze of the viewer to the inner interior where blue hues hint at the possibility of inner renewal.
