Jasmine Simpson
Jasmine Simpson is one of our own...
She was born in Boston, Lincolnshire and grew up in Stoke on Trent. After studying ceramics at Staffordshire University, involvement in the very famous Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red art installation which travelled the country for the national 100 year commemoration of WW1 in 2018, after which she got accepted to study Ceramics and Glass at the RCA.

In 2023 she was put forward for the highly prestigious Award Prize at the British Ceramics Biennial and won a public art commission to welcome visitors at the historic Spode Gates in Stoke.
Now she is working with experienced sculptors as an artist in residence in a Sussex Sculpture Park learning her trade to produce large-scale works, set in a rural landscape interacting with form and the characters of the wildlife of Southern England.

They will discover a fantastic and well-deserved rise of this artistic young female star and be able to own a piece of her unique sculptural work, a slice of art history in the making.
