Very large painting by Ian Kent titled "Long Stone".
Painted in the artist's studio in 1998.
This is one of a part of a series of paintings inspired by standing rocks found in the British landscape. The work was exhibited at the Potteries Museum and Art gallery in Hanley, Stoke on Trent Open Art exhibition in the 90s.
Mixed media on wooden panel, worked on the surface with blow touch.
Artist made wooden frames which have been charred and sealed to create unique textured finish.
