Badger design on hand made porcelain clay tile inspired by British Wildlife made and printed by the artist in 2025 by the female artist who works with ceramics Shauna McCann.
Hand printed using printing techniques like salt etch, dry point etch, and lino print. Paper prints are then transferred onto ceramic decals. Oxides, enamels and monoprint are added for colour. This painterly effect alongside traditional printing techniques make each decal print unique and original.
This printed tile artwork with glass splatters explores British Wildlife is a hand made ceramic piece of porcelain which has been hand printed with a linocut of a badger by the artist and fired and fused with speckles of glass and mounted onto a found stained piece of reclaimed wood.
