Barewall UK Ceramics Exhibition : 8 Sept - 19 Oct 2024

Barewall's ceramics exhibition presents a collection of established collectable UK potters from the gallery personal collection found over a number of years including big UK names in the studio pottery scene such as Eddie Curtis, Lisa Hammond, Neil Brownsword, Nick Marsh and Kevin Millward.

The early part of the exhibition includes a selection of nationally based potters never shown in Stoke before; including contemporary raku potter and author Stephen Murfitt, pottery throwdown contestant Jennifer Cobb, potter to Gordon Ramsay's Lucky Cat restaurant Debbie Randall, inventor of slip trailing tool Mark Dally, Scottish illustrative story teller on delicate pots Rebecca Brown, Midlands based potter Lillian Mann, as part of the Stoke on Clay festival.

Our neighbours Lost + Found Projects are taking part with a ceramic display on furniture by ceramics designer Dave Harper and ceramic artist Rosie Threadgold showing her unique and sustainable contemporary ceramics.

This is all alongside Barewall gallery ceramic artists including; Enos Lovatt 1960's large sculpture, Jonathan Cox 2024 faceforms, Andrew Matheson blue and white thrown porcelain, Philip Hardaker pop art mosaics, FLUX Stoke-on-Trent luxury tableware designed by Rebecca Hogg with David Sanderson plus pieces by Jon Bull and Manda Payne.
